How is Charles Long healthy?

Well thats a big question to ask, but I will come up with some sort of answer. I think the biggest way that I remain healthy is by regularly checking in with myself.

Basically I try to make time to sit quietly and just be, maybe in the morning right before I get in the shower or at night right before I go to bed. I just take a look inside and review my day, my relationships and my process.

In terms of sexy health, I work to achieve balance between my raging hormones and the life they would have me lead. When I do embrace the whore within I make informed decisions, I allow myself and other folks who are involved to be informed and I try and inform myself. What I have realized recently though is that I have to embrace all sides of myself and realize that's who I am, regardless of how others outside of me might perceive or judge that behavior. By affirming myself in myself I stay awake and can be there for the other folks who in my life might need me.

When I do review my process and I discover something I would like to change or be more diligent about, I focus in and put things in place that will allow that transformation or transition to occur in the best way possible for me. The most valuable way that I or anyone else for that matter can maintain their health is be honest and real with where you are, try not to belittle and attack the behavior but analyze it and realize where it comes from. If once you track that down you are still unhappy set things in place that will help you move past them and discover a new level.

Ultimately spend less time worrying about who you are not and more perfecting the acceptance of who you are, in the end you are all you have. So when you are lucky enough to reach a ripe old age and looking back on your life, wouldn't it be sad to think that you spent all this time obsessing about being more of this or less of that. When really you are more or less of what you need to be already...
