Gay men, anal sex, and the new Female Condom???

Two bloggers aint happy about the fact the Female Condom, new or otherwise, has not been tested or approved for anal sex - despite gay men bearing the brunt of the HIV epidemic in this country and the West. Petrelis also aint havin' AIDS Inc and Gay Inc neither for the silence on this issue...

-- From Michael Petrelis - Anal Condom is No Pain in the Ass; FDA Approval Omits Sodomy

Excerpt:
With so much silence and laziness on the part of the well-staffed and well-endowed, financially speaking, AIDS Inc and Gay Inc organizations right now about Reality for gays and stopping new HIV and STD infections, it's no wonder the FDA and the anal condom manfacturer are under no pressure to change their thinking and help sexually active gay men.

-- From Thomas Kraemer - FDA approves 2nd female condom, but not for gays

Excerpt:
The original FC is a polyurethane condom that is identical to the original Reality condom. The FC2 is made of synthetic nitrile rubber to improve affordability, particularly in large volumes. FC2 female condom is a new second generation female condom made of synthetic nitrile. FC2 is strong, hypoallergenic and, unlike latex, may be used with both oil and water-based lubricants. The nitrile rubber is more stretchy than the polyurethane, which may make it harder to use for anal sex.

Related info: International Rectal Microbicide Advocates held a teleconference recently on the new female condom - pre-FDA approval - and implications for anal sex: It was called, "The Female Condom - where the girls – AND boys – are" and featured presentations by Serra Sippel, CHANGE Executive Director and Mitchell Warren, AVAC Executive Director. So...... who has used the female condom for buttfucking? What was it like? Should we pushing for FDA approval of the female condom for anal sex, for both the many men AND women who like it in the rear?

  1. I have a couple male/male friends that tried and like the old latex female condom. I have never tried it.

The polyurethen condoms are not as strechy, but they do pass the warm of the partners, unlike latex, which insulates heat between couples. Polyurethene should make a better feel to the male and female, or male and male partners.

  3. The best part of this condom is that when both partners, male-male in my case, use one. Swapping back and forth is amazing! They can be a bit daunting to insert and at times the internal ring can move around and get irritating. All in all, the ability to insert it early and not having a condom on your penis for let's say, "other things", brings spontaneity back!

  4. the female condom works so much better cause their is never that embarrassing dirty moments EVER!!!!this is so much easier to have sex with then anything i have ever used. i feel like its even better then bare. i would make it into like a underware so it could strap to my waist and below my thighs so it could stay in place for those men who love it hard. but all in all having the first insertion for a gay couple is amazing. you can have it pre lubed by jsut squirting lube inside and then BAM! its a miracle. cause now the bottom can protect himself and its way better, just slips right in. I love it!! 1000000% A+++

  5. Anonymous, that's a pretty cool idea of having it attached to underwear and just a hole where you anus is. That removes one of the toughest issues with the female condom is that it slips inside the anal walls during penetration or you are penetrated outside of the condom if he misses or pulls out too far.

Market that someone. It could be a Hot Jock strap or male versions of a strap on harness.
