How is Kemar Jewel healthy?

"Walking the runway, eating the runway, serving the runway Ow!! Ow!!"

This is just one of the dozens of chants I hear almost every day while I'm at work. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kemar Jewel and I am the Entertainment Director and Runway Coach for one of Philadelphia's hottest and most professional fashion company, DivaDon Productions.

I choose to stay healthy for the people that I work with. At my job, I work with a lot of young women and gay men. Since we work on projects together and I coach a lot of them, we often get a chance to bond and we talk about of things such as sex, STDs, and other health issues.

Now I must admit, it is hard dealing with temptations sometimes. From occasionally logging on to gay social networking sites (such as adam4adam & bgclive), to working with VERY attractive men on a daily basis, it gets a little difficult.

There's been times when I see a sexy guy and just start having the nastiest thoughts; a lot of these thoughts dealing with unprotected sex. Just as I think I want to react on these thoughts, I STOP!!!

I stop and think about all of those people who look up to me, trust me, and rely on me on and off the runway.

I realize that I can't stay strong for them if I can't stay strong for myself!

I also stay healthy by eating right, exercising, and practicing safe sex.

As I get older, I understand more and more that I'm not just doing it for me. I'm also doing it for everyone in my life because they need me around just as much as I need them.

As long as there are models to teach, people to entertained a runway to walk...I'll always be around.
