I'm certainly at the age when this question requires more attention to detail than it used to. I try my darnedest to eat healthy (good breakfast, lots of fruits and veggies, high fiber, low fat).
I actually have a gym membership (thanks to the BF!), but I much prefer to take long walks with my iPod; it's great exercise both physically and mentally. I do smoke the occasional cigarette, but it certainly falls under the umbrella of "everything in moderation."
It can be difficult sometimes to keep up the routine; laziness sets in. However, the reward for staying active and eating right is always a better mental outlook and pants that actually fit.
I'm a huge proponent of proper rest. If I can keep sleep, diet and exercise all in good balance, everything else tends to fall into place.

I love Kirk, and everything he does, but Kirk needs to go see a dentist.
ReplyDeleteWow, I thought this was supposed to be a celebration about the ways in which we are healthy, not an opportunity to bash people. Prefacing that insult with "I love Kirk, and everything he does" doesn't make it any less shitty. I know Kirk—used to work with the guy—and he doesn't deserve that. Actually, nobody deserves that. Us gays have it bad enough without tearing each other apart all the time.
ReplyDeleteBoo on you for that comment. How would that make you feel? Let's support each other, not knock each other down. You know what? You may be absolutely gorgeous, but I can tell by your comment that you are an absolutely hideous person.
ReplyDeleteAgree --- cut the nasty shit! I love this campaign that lifelube is doing because it is positive and empowering.... about what we are doing right for ourselves. Bitch needs to ssssssstep.
