Health to me is as much physical as it its emotional and spiritual.
I don’t try to define what is healthy by the standards set by society. I make “healthy” decisions, but I take a conscious role in making those decisions. While I don’t always eat the right food, spend enough time at the gym or make the “safest” decisions sexually, I am aware and see staying healthy as a work in progress.
I am also healthy because I work on ensuring that my relationships with friends, family and self are positive. I cannot think about healthy living if I am always in a fight with my father, worried about drama with friends, or if I am overtly critical of myself.
Health to me is about love. I put love out there, and at the same time love myself. Through this love I live a more positive and in fact healthy life.
