The Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Institute (SOGI) will partner with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to present current research and clinical perspectives on

Researchers representing Children’s Memorial Hospital, Howard Brown Health Center and the University of Illinois at Chicago will discuss their work on suicidality, focusing on youth and women in our community. Health care providers and public health officials will provide commentary on the research, and share observations on this topic from their work. Community participants will have the opportunity to dialogue with the presenters and provide their perspectives.
This event will be held in the Hoover-Leppen Theater at the Center on Halsted in Chicago. It is free and open to the public.
