For 20 years, the AIDS Legal Council of Chicago (ALCC) has been fighting to protect the legal rights of not just people with HIV, but all of us with regards to this challenging sexually transmitted disease.
On today’s show Justin Hayford, the case manager for the AIDS Legal Council of Chicago join us to talk about HIV, AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases and its legal ramifications.
Will we eventually get access to healthcare regardless of the money we make? Does my doctor have a right to tell my family about my HIV status? What are some of the common misconceptions people make when they first get diagnosed for HIV infection?
Although some of you may not be HIV positive, you should still listen to find out what your rights to privacy are when you get tested.
