Asking transgender people to disclose for an abstract benefit on a large scale isn't realistic when that information will be immediately used against one, including (especially?) in the gay and lesbian communities. That doesn't mean don't lobby, but it does mean that transgender people (like other oppressed categories) shouldn't have to do all the fighting ourselves.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
